Though the pattern uses only basic crochet stitches (chain, single crochet, and double crochet - in US terms) it is most suitable for advanced beginners. To create the shape of the leaves, you'll be doing increases by crocheting 2 double crochet stitches in the same stitch and decreases by crocheting 2 double crochet stitches together and 3 double crochet stitches together.
