Spiegel Grove Wreck 7 2020

Wreck of the BIG Spiegel Grove off of Florida Keys. Over 500' long and 80 wide landing ship sunk in 2002 and turned upright by Hurricane Dennis in 2005.

Moderately deep. Well over 100' as you get into the ship. Heavily encrusted now with some interesting growth.

Serious current at times. Pay attention on entry point or you'll be blown right off the wreck.

Water temp around 86 degrees with a thermocline. Fairly fishy.

Multiple mooring balls. Caution: this is a popular fishing site. Don't get hooked!
