SOME ARE SAYING THIS WON'T WORK! Installing culvert, ditch crossing, wildlife pond & deer funnel!

July 2020. Join me for PART 2 the completion of a multi faceted project on a remote Southern Illinois property that will serve multiple purposes. First of all we'll build a ditch crossing to cross this very steep and deep 20' ditch. Then we'll install a culvert pipe to route the water flow, however, most ditch culvert pipes are installed at the bottom of the ditch, but this time I am going to install it nearly 5 feet up the ditch to create a new watering hole/small wildlife pond on the upside of this big ditch. So, not only will we create a place that the landowner can cross from one part of the land to another, and take machines across it, but the deer and wildlife will certainly use this new animal highway to easily cross this ditch that used to be very difficult to cross, even for wildlife! The bobcat e42 mini excavator will be the hero of this property management improvement project, doing all of the digging and compacting of the new road ditch crossing and wildlife pond. Also, since we needed much more dirt and clay than I anticipated I'll dig yet ANOTHER small water hole in a nearby ditch to get the fill that I needed to complete the ditch crossing to bring the new road up to ground level.
