Millions of Americans Are Unemployed, But Does That Even Matter?

Over a million people lose their jobs every week, yet the narrative of a "v-shaped recovery" is alive and well. Given that the unemployed in many cases receive more in benefits than they were making in their jobs, does the unemployment number even mean anything? Or will the Fed's money printing finally come back to haunt us? Nobody important really seems concerned.
