What Will Be Left After #CancelCulture?

What will be left when all the statues are torn down and the last comedian has been canceled for telling an off-color joke? When offensive books are banned from libraries and schools, when the museums are emptied because history is messy and unpleasant? What will be left? How can we hope to learn from the past if we destroy all the reminders that it ever happened?
