Can Starfield Be All Things To All Gamers?

People are complaining about one thousand planets in Starfield. This is strange because it has already been made clear by Todd Howard that as a player, you can completely avoid planets that aren’t a part of the game's main story.

In other words, you can do what I used to do as a younger gamer and just mainline the game and never engage with any of the extra content.

It makes me wonder if this may be a situation where gamers who don’t love exploration may be concerned that they may miss certain content.

Unfortunately for these players, it looks like Starfield will be loaded with rewards for going off the beaten path.

So if you want to experience much of the game's content, you will need to explore. The good news is, that choice will be totally up to the player.
