Happy Independence Day!!

Growing up, Independence Day was all about fireworks and working at our family's booth selling them... both of which were fun, don't get me wrong.

Now, in large part thanks to my husband, Independence Day has new significance-- we are both so thankful for the freedoms we enjoy and the many brave men and women throughout history who sacrificed everything for them.

Even more importantly, we are thankful for the freedom from sin that we have in Christ Jesus-- a freedom that one can have no matter where they live.

Today we celebrated these things with our children.
