The Raw Deal (7 February 2022) with Danny Cirrus

The Trucker Convoy Protest in Canada may be the first shot heard 'round the world--symbolically, so far, but literally, with high probability. It turns out the Mayor of Ottawa pressured GoFundMe to confiscate the money donated to the truckers and declare they would donate it to charities of their choice, which was blatant theft. Now the same Mayor has directed the local police to confiscate fuel and propane from the protesters, which is an act of wonton cruelty in the frigid weather now. The only living member to have signed the Canadian Charter (analogous to our Constitution), which grants even more explicitly rights to Canadians than to us under the Constitution, is bringing legal action for its violation against the Trudeau government, which has been egregiously violating the rights of Canadians without restraint, just as has the Biden administration here in the US. I foresee this leading to more and more action on behalf of those who favor freedom over tyranny and more and more egregious actions by the tyrants to preserve their power and control. But the odds are against them. The Canadian public and most Americans are with them and their actions are an inspiration for the rest of the world.
