I have had a fascination for history since my early days of education. Looking into historically accurate information with respect to certain times. Surprisingly, information for research is still available in its purest form. I decided to research pandemics to determine the frequency and the aftermath left in the wake of these events. The history of pandemics is a fascinating look from the very first to the most reasonable. I discuss the geographical implications, the percentage of the population affected by the pandemics, and how they have been ranked throughout history. I discuss the implications of the naturally occurring man-made pandemics throughout history. The audience is asked to review the events leading to the pandemics of the past and see how the global community has reacted and prepared for such events.
