In 1996 on the eve of a new year I embarked on what would be one of the most illuminating adventures of my life. I volunteered to help set up the first Gathering festival on the Canaan Downs on top of the Takaka Hill. It was a festival unlike any other for me, a dance party at its core, it would give me so much more.

The most mystical box of treasures was opened for me on this Piezioelectric portal that is this crystal mountain. I would leave this festival with a memory of a lifetime that I had lived on a mythical continent called Atlantis...
