The collection of books I have written with the multidimensional parts of myself that I have been channelling since 2008 needed a name. I toiled with many names, none really took into account the nature of the work.

I was writing heartfelt, beautifully emotive, deeply imaginary short stories, horror, macabre, dark erotic fantasy, and then a medley of the two in my novels. My poetic heart began to take a life of its own and then satire was thrown into the mix in 2020 as I began to write a novel that combined all literary landscapes I had traversed in thirteen years.

Then Sean Woollgar (who is the glue that binds everything Oho Ake Books together) said, 'How about The Shadow and Soul series'. This was a stroke of genius. Embracing the soul of creation, and acknowledging all that is hidden from sight. Brilliant.
