PS4 from earliers live stream #shorts #repair

Bit of an unforseen issue earier on live stream (see link below). This 4 whas just a standard clean out and thermal compouns change. Once reassembled the system seems to have a short from one of the metal covers.

What it actually turned out to be was an issue with one of the RAM IC's closest to the HDMI port. Didn't quite believe the metal casing was shorting it out, so must have been flexing the board while cleaning cause a solder ball ot crack under one of the RAM IC's.
