Big Sky on the SD/Montana border

In the southeast corner of Montana, we drove a gravel road for 35 miles as a shortcut from Devil's Tower, WY up to Dickinson, ND. The road passed through beautiful wild prairie with wild pronghorns. It followed the Little Missouri River from the ghost town of Albion, MT to Camp Crook, SD. At times, the road followed the state line exactly, dividing the two states.
