An incident at the Barrington 220 school district caused some national news after a book was assigned for summer reading. Joining us is Anastasia, a Mother of a student in that district, to talk about what happened at this school board meeting that she was at; as well as the overall performance of the schools in the district as they continue to fail our children.

This last week Jeanne traveled from Texas to Illinois and the sticker shock from the gas pump were appalling, and then you enter Illinois. But relief is on the way as we get a $0.02 a gallon discount on gas.
