Ithaca World Oceans day 2022: Greek Island cleans up Marine debris, ghost nets

Today is World ocean's day and to mark this day International Marine conservation organizations conducted a sea cleanup operation in the Greek island of Ithaca only to retrieve tons of marine debris from the seabed.

Ahead of World Oceans Day on Wednesday, volunteer divers and fishermen worked together to retrieve a massive piece of garbage from the ocean floor off the Greek island of Ithaca. See their heroic efforts to help clean up the sea bed and save marine life.
