From its “Wolf Warrior diplomacy” to seductive Belt and Road Initiative “pay day loans” for infrastructure development to militarized maritime operations against indigenous fishermen and resources to strategically located and fortified man-made bastions, the CCP is mounting nothing less than a “maritime insurgency.” What are the implications of such operations and what can we do to counter them?
