Tibet Airlines' flight fire: All 113 passengers and 9 crew evacuated

The 113 passengers and 9 crew members on board of the flight from Chongqing to Nyingchi, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, were evacuated safely, after the crew member found an abnormality and the flight veered off the runway as the takeoff abruptly halted in Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport on Thursday.

The Tibet Airlines issued an official notice later that said all passengers and crew were evacuated safely. According to the CAAC Southwest Regional Administration official website 36 passengers were hospitalized with minor injuries and the aircraft was damaged by fire.
