The Mayor has whipped up an interesting segue for today that rolls Gary Puckett and the Union Gap into a special extended play version of George Benson's "Give Me The Night" for a Sixties/Eighties Segue City Special and off we go into Saturday... actually, off we go to the beach and the Mayor stays in the studio but the studio is air conditioned so he'll be fine and we'll work on our tans...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
