017 Leviticus 12:1-8 (Leviticus Studies)

This short little chapter is thick with connections to Jesus Christ including his circumcision, Mary's offering for her own purification after His birth and, among other things, His poverty as He left Heaven's riches and glory to become the son of a poor, virgin girl and his adopted father who worked as a carpenter. See 2 Corinthians 8:9 and Hebrews 4:14-15.
