What's on your mind? I want to bring up a story that came out in our local papers last week in regards to our police department. Sure. It was reported in the Johnson City Press and a few other local media sources like WJHL about the local police department they're being sued by a US attorney by being fired. According to the Johnson City Press article, our police department fired our attorney investigator that was pressing the police department to investigate a serial rape claims that were they that were being by a local business owner. According to the johnson city press article we had a local business owner that was seriously raping women from local bars. and it's I mean it's pretty horrific. The article had at least seven women that had come forward to the u.s attorney. and she's pressing the Johnson City Police Department to investigate these claims. out of the seven women, one of them even fell out of this business owner's fifth-story condo. fell out of the balcony and survived somehow. and tried to explain to the police department regarding these serial rape allegations. the police department refused to investigate any of these rape allegations. The police support that the article even included one woman who woke up in his condo and tried to explain to the police what happened; they just ignored her claims. The attorneys tried to get our police department to investigate these claims. but the article also says that they would look at video footage and pretty much just resort to throwing the allegations away based on the clothing the women were wearing. and how just how they looked.
