Quickly Configure OBS with Elgato HD60 S Plus (and other capture cards) On A Macintosh

Do you stream and own a Mac. Do you want to use OBS but find the HD60 S line troublesome. Are you not getting audio on the HD60 S Plus (HD60 S+)? In this short video (under 4 minutes), I show you how to quickly configure OBS to use the HD60 S+ without any proprietary software in this tutorial. (This same method has worked on a cheap capture card I purchased from Amazon as well.)

I hope that this is an easy to follow guide that allows people to quickly use the Elgato HD60 S Plus with OBS (and Streamlabs OBS - exactly the same) without resorting to loading additional software.

In this video, I am using a 2018 MacBook Pro with macOS Catalina, and of course, the elgato HD60 S Plus. (HD60 S+)

The test console for this video was the TurboGrafx 16 Mini, featuring "Air Zonk."

I happened to see a video this morning from MidnightMan and commented that I was able to successfully use audio through OBS without needing the Elgato software. He replied and this is my response.
