Unboxing a Ruger American Predator 6.5 Creedmoor Rifle

I recently picked up a Ruger American Predator chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. I wanted a light weight gun that was good for backpacking and was still very effective at long range. After doing a lot of research on which caliber to go with, I decided the 6.5 Creedmoor was the best choice. The Ruger American Predator kept coming up in various reviews as the best choice for a budget gun.
