Blue, brown, mud, blood -- symbolic incantations appear on every second page

That was clear in today's Failing Terrograph, along with other themes such as pink clothing and brown which is often associated with mud and blood. The patterns are undeniable and all seem to lend weight to my theory about a vast hidden trade in a pink drug that dare not speak its name.
