Minneapolis Mulls ABOLISHING The Police?

The city of Minneapolis is officially considering abolishing the police department. While this sounds nuts on the surface, they potentially could replace the existing police department with a decentralized series of law enforcement agencies that would be able to maintain better relations with local urbanites. If successful, this model of decentralized, small town-esque, police departments in major cities may become a model for all of America.
