Pentecost Sunday

In his sermon for Pentecost, Pr. Seifferlein connects the Old Testament account of the burning bush and God's deliverance of His people from Egypt, to the story of Pentecost, and God sending His apostles to deliver His people from slavery to Satan. The burning fire that does not consume marks the place where God's speaks and brings deliverance to His people.
