Planting Vlog 2020 Episode 8 - Planting Till the Wheels Fall Off!

It is finally that time...putting seed in the ground! But like the rest of the 2020 planting season thus far, it is not without challenges. I start with moving the autosteer from the tillage tractor (John Deere 4455) over to the planting tractor (John Deere 4440). I make sure everything is working by planting some sweetcorn (sorry forgot to film) then we get started on the big field. Then the planter reminded me of why I want a different planter.
