Discerning Deception and Loving Unconditionally

There is so much information available today, how do we discern what's true? How do we discern evil from good? Satan whispered at Eve, "Surely God didn't mean..." And it made sense to her, while also allowing her to do what she wanted to do to begin with.
A fine line between morality being divine and of human origin, and we somehow have found ourselves in a world that allow the individual to exercise rights that can only be done virtuously by God.
