052: Free Speech Cut SHORT in M-C!

Following last meeting's debacle where he violated state law and abused his power to unlawfully have Bunker Bob thrown out of an open city council meeting from City Hall, a public building, McLendon-Chisholm Mayor Keith Short has decided to eliminate parliamentary procedure known as Roberts Rules of Order (used by most cities, ALL state legislatures and the US Congress) for his own set of new rules, which gives him the power & authority to prohibit any form of speech that HE OPPOSES while also curtailing the power & authority of the City Council. Not only do these rules demonstrate Short's disregard for open government, free speech, and the US Constitution, much of it violates state and federal law!

If the Council adopts these new rules tonight, a lawsuit is sure to follow by citizens that still believe in limiting government and protecting the rights of citizens.
