Unexpected motorcycle breakdown over 100 miles from home

So I was on my way from Lancaster PA to Dubois PA, when the unexpected happened. Thanks to the kindness of strangers and the kindness of family, it worked out well enough. I did have to sit for six hours on a Sunday afternoon waiting on a rescue.

Just shows the importance of a good pre-ride check, and keeping a tool kit and some extra parts along, but it worked out.
