Srishti, sthiti, and laya
According to Advaita Vedanta, there is a beginning-less and endless cycle of creation, maintenance and dissolution or resolution, called ‘srishti’, ‘sthiti’, and ‘laya’. This is indeed fascinating as it strongly complies with the concept of matter converting into energy and back.

energy converting into matter is called sristhi. In each srishti, or creation, the variety and pattern of objects, the attributes of the bodies and minds and the events and situations have to be fashioned to suit the energy it carries. This is also related to the concept of karma.

Matter in various modes of motion is sthiti. This is the mode of existence that human beings normally refer to. This is the stage of maintenance. The third stage of this cycle is laya or the stage of resolution. Laya is matter converting into energy. This conversion can be at any level. In-fact, on a large-scale, laya can even attain the form of ‘pralaya’. Pralaya should not be confused with doomsday. Doomsday means the end. Pralaya, on the other hand, is just a part of a never-ending cycle of creation (srishti), maintenance (sthiti) and resolution (laya), which is endless and has no beginning either.

De acordo com Advaita Vedanta, existe um ciclo sem começo e interminável de criação, manutenção e dissolução ou resolução, chamado 'srishti', 'sthiti' e 'laya'. Isso é realmente fascinante, pois cumpre fortemente o conceito de matéria que se converte em energia e vice-versa.

a energia que se converte em matéria é chamada sristhi. Em cada srishti, ou criação, a variedade e o padrão de objetos, os atributos dos corpos e mentes e os eventos e situações devem ser modelados para se adequar à energia que ele carrega. Isso também está relacionado ao conceito de karma.

A matéria em vários modos de movimento é sthiti. Este é o modo de existência a que os seres humanos normalmente se referem. Este é o estágio de manutenção. O terceiro estágio deste ciclo é laya ou o estágio de resolução. Laya é matéria que se converte em energia. Essa conversão pode estar em qualquer nível. De fato, em larga escala, o laya pode até atingir a forma de 'pralaya'. Pralaya não deve ser confundido com o dia do juízo final. Doomsday significa o fim. Pralaya, por outro lado, é apenas parte de um ciclo interminável de criação (srishti), manutenção (sthiti) e resolução (laya), que é interminável e também não tem começo.
