You don’t empower women by telling them how much of a victim they are.

You don’t empower women by telling them they should depend on someone else for their safety.

You empower women by giving them tools and teaching them the skills necessary to “adequately” defend what they value most.

Teaching women to be independent while at the same time making them dependent on the government is moronic and self-defeating.

Knowledge is power, so when you give that knowledge to someone else, you’re literally giving them power and that's how you empower people.
