Kane & Lynch: Dead Men (PS3) Gameplay Sample

Kyne and Lynch is a so-so third person shooter that was a pretty average example of a duck and cover shooter from the 7th generation. It's not terrible by any means, but games like Army of Two are so much better in the coop aspect (I never played the online mode which had it's fans), and there are better playing similar games all over the 7th gen.

This game was controversial for all the wrong reasons, most notably, the firing of Jeff Gerstmann from Gamespot for giving this game a low review score when Eidos had been paying big money for banner adds at Gamespot to promote the game. He was fired, and they used some vague reson like they didn't like the tone of the review so they fired him (ie they lost money). In the end, game websites are a business, and when advertisers pay big money to that website, journalistic integrity be d*mned.
