Canned Stew Meat with Veggies

This costs $2 - $2.75 per quart plus $1 for the jar.. If you used potatoes, carrots, and onions from your garden it would be about $1.75. The meat is the biggest cost. If you over salt it on purpose you can add water after opening for a soup, to stretch your meals out even more. I can also add hot sauce, rice, noodles, dumplings, eggs, cabbage or whatever you got available. I like to mash my potatoes and carrots together and add butter like I do with a roast.
