2022_07_17_AM_Stand Fast in the LORD

Pastor Mike preaches Philippians 4:1-20 today. If we trust in God, and not man, God will provide according to our need [not necessarily according to what we want] per verse 19. This epistle also contains several well-known verses that encourage us to lean on Him - always.

While verse 11 encourages us to be content in our circumstance, however, we must guard against complacency if we wish to achieve all that God has in store for us. We must sometimes reach out of our "comfort zone" to grow.

Psalm 73 is our 'homework' that buttresses the point that Paul makes in this epistle.
