READ THIS IMPORTANT WARNING! if you want even marginally good recommendations don't let anybody use your YouTube to watch a few videos. YouTube will add their history to yours and your recommendations can change radically.

I opened my account a few weeks ago and all my recommended videos were about Mukbang (eating challenges in Philippines) and were in Tagalog (the Philippine language). Well I kind of suspected Rea had used my YouTube sign in...

It took days to re-tune recommendations to my interests by deleting my view history. This is a sorry situation that could easily be fixed by YouTube.
