HOW TO PRUNE A LILLAC BUSH IN SPRING! Ever wondering what time of year to trim your Lillac bush? OR do you think your Lillac bush looks overgrown? Then this is the video for you! Especially off you are gardening in Canada. I garden I’m Saskatchewan and that has its own host of issues!

To help a Lillac bush look better all year around you need to prune the plant regularly. The key is in separating the bottom of the bush from the soil. In this video I have included a diagram you can screenshot to show the spacing you should aim for when pruning. This will prevent yellow leaves, overgrown & a bulky looking Lillac bush for the summer months to come.
