Jesus Is the Savior of the World - I John 4:14 - John 4:42

The Word of God declares that Jesus is the Savior of the world. Does he save all, or just some? Is there a limitation imposed on this verse that we cannot see?
Richard presents two verses, I John 4:14 and John 4:42, both of which declare that Jesus is the Savior of the world. Is Jesus “Savior of the World” or is he the Savior of those who believe?
I John 4:14 – And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.
John 4:42 – And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.
