Petrified Forest National Park, HolBrook AZ, Part 1

Located near the town of Holbrook in Northern Arizona, Petrified Forest National Park is a great place to visit. You’ll see lots of petrified wood, not to mention colorful views of The Painted Desert. In this part we cover the Painted Desert and the many formations found within the park. You can literally drive through the entire park in a few hours, or stay longer and explore the different trails and vistas.In part 2 we focus on the petrified forest and the mounds of wood scattered throughout the park.
