Why Am I Cutting Down These Large Trees?

I wasn't able to get tree service folks out. Old growth trees fell on my shed. These are a danger to my home. And why I did the major land project.

Big trees are beautiful. However, the larger the tree gets, the harder it is to stay up. When erosion removes soil, the trees are at risk of falling down. Timbering large trees make a difference.

Martinsville, Virginia, was planted to serve the Basset Furniture and American of Martinsville factories. However, trees were not cut after 30 years. They become a problem.
