Harbor freight solar install on a RV

My parent got an RV and came up to visit, so we need to install some solar. Set up is $100 thunderbolt PV Solar panel, $9 PV cords, and $20 Charge regulator. Unfortunately the charge regulator was defective and some of the internal components overheated and melted the plastic. We returned the charge regulator to #HarborFreight and had no problems getting a new one. The damage was only cosmetic to the battery. The charge regulator take the power from the solar panel and regulates the charge to the 12v battery, all the power this RV needs is from the 12v battery so this set up works well. This will power the DC fridge, fans, lights, DC charge ports for phones and tablets. No AC.
