Not Ashamed of The Gospel of Christ

In this message, Steve points out that Paul separates the potential shame and disappointment of temporary trials from the eternal power of the gospel which saves us from our sins. The gospel's ultimate purpose isn't to give you a comfy, cushy life now, it's to give you heaven instead of hell later! Don't be ashamed, disappointed, or lose your faith if things are tough in this broken world, the power of God is still at work saving you for heaven! Listen, the gospel of Christ is the good news of Christ doing for us what we couldn't do for ourselves, He alone could pay the price to save us from our sins, and He did so out of His love for us!
