Envy & Jealousy are Destroyers

The scriptures call out the twin evils of Envy and Jealousy. Envy is coveting what someone else has, while Jealousy is usually a fear of something you possess being taken away. Regardless, the Bible calls them out as works of the flesh, and not of the spirit, in Galatians chapter 5. Proverbs 14 speaks of Envy as being "rottenness to the bones" - your literal health.
