Facebook Fact Checkers

So, some really interesting but not surprising news coming out through a lawsuit related to Facebook's fact checkers. Apparently they were essentially just going off their own opinions with no actual fact checking involved. Now, we can conjecture that their opinion on certain topics was provided for them by Facebook, and on others they just winged it. Let's also keep in mind the type of people most likely to be employed for this, knowing they weren't even expected to worry about facts or check actual sources. You aren't going to have highly educated, critical thinking type folks with a broad knowledge base. In fact, I doubt they even worried about assigning a particular post to a particular person or group based on the topic to make sure they had ANY actual knowledge rather than just a provided opinion.
