China Sends Tanks to Protect a Bank!

China has sent a collumn of tanks to protect a bank as bank runs, protests, and now a mortgage revolts sweeps across China. While it's near impossible to get reliable data at China, the most recent estimates state that borrowers have halted mortgage payments at over 300 projects in 91 cities over the last week as the developers building these homes have defaulted on their debts, the projects are incomplete, and now the banks have stolen people's money. After abuse the nations Covid contact tracing app to slow the protests and even sending plain-clothed goons to beat and arrest protesters, now the government has escalated and is deploying armored tank columns in the street outside at least one bank.
