Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has released the third trailer on Amazon Prime Video alongside an Entertainment Weekly Exclusive article. But with SDCC starting tomorrow we are getting even more news, and a full trailer from San Diego Comic-Con International.

Does this improve the confidence in JD Payne and Patrick McKay and their desire for a "blank slate" in J. R. R. Tolkien's LOTR rather than a more fleshed-out part of the IP? Or is this Lord of the Rings "based on" tv series another Wheel of Time?
