WASHINGTON (TND) — A left-leaning non-profit activist organization is urging Twitter to censor the word "groomer" on its social media platform, claiming the "smear" incites "anti-LGBTQ harassment."

Media Matters for America published a statement on Tuesday writing that "right-wing" antagonists on social media are using the term to target LGBTQ people online.
