GeoCaching on the Long Ridge Trail

Hitting a new GeoCache on the Long Ridge Trail while on a bike ride up in the Santa Cruz Mtns.

First time I've made it up this far in about a year and some new GeoCaches have been placed in that time. Earlier this summer, there was a temperature inversion up here and the higher you climb in the canyon, the hotter it gets. It's a steep, 2 mile (3.2km) climb to get up here. When it's hot, muggy and no breeze, it's a bit more than I can handle some times.

Finally that pattern reverted to normal in early August where the higher you climb the cooler it gets.
