Our Appointment to install our air conditioning unit got rescheduled to today, so I hate to postpone my session until a lot later than usual. So by the time I got to it, I was definitely feeling lower energy. However I was determined to get five reps with this weight. Do or f@#$ing die. My cues and overall strength felt severely off from the start; but as the great squatfather Tom Platz says, when you think you have no more left, you have MORE in you. This was an absolute ALL OUT set. Nothing left. That last rep may have indeed been the grindiest squat rep of my life, and for a moment, I genuinely was not sure if I was going to finish it, hahha. I mighy play it safe, and dial back my training max for squats going forward, to save a bit on overall fatigue. We'll see.
