Affirms what EVERYBODY KNOWS: even people who were(are) enemies of the Jews and Christians avow that they have something SUPERNATURAL going on in them that was/is not going on in any other "religion".
Christians do not deny that there are many blind and deaf who cannot see or hear the truth and the evidence supporting it (because they have not been given eyes to see or ears to hear) concerning that which can only be spiritually discerned. Nevertheless, Christians, in charity (as in this instance), are well disposed to give testimony of the reason for the hope which is in us by the free unmerited favor of God.
