A New Weapon for Fighting the Coronavirus?

A new decision from the FDA just gave physicians what could be a significant advantage in their fight against the coronavirus.

They're allowing two drugs that have been used on malaria patients — hydroxychloroquine sulfate and chloroquine phosphate — to be used for treating those diagnosed with COVID-19.

As the disease continues spreading, the government is working with the National Institutes of Health to plan clinical trials.
